Limited & Unlimited Lunch with Popular Items
Food is a big part of a day at Ramoji Film City. You will spend six to eight hours walking between film sets, shows and gardens, and lunch is the one long break in the day. Outside food is not allowed inside the park, except baby food, so it helps to know what the restaurants serve and what it costs before you go.
This guide lists the buffet and combo lunches that visitors can pre-book, with the items in each plate and the last known price. Menus and prices change with the season, so treat the numbers as a guide and check them when you book.
Buffet or combo: what is the difference
Ramoji offers two kinds of lunch.
- Buffet (unlimited): you pay once and eat as much as you like from a spread of dishes. The main veg buffet is the Pan India spread at Sangam restaurant.
- Combo (limited): a fixed plate with a set number of items, served once. Combos are cheaper and quicker, which suits families who want to get back to the tour.
Lunch is usually served between 1 PM and 3 PM. The Star Experience ticket already includes a veg and non-veg buffet at Super Star or Dostana restaurant, so Star Experience visitors do not need to buy lunch separately.

BBQ dinner with bonfire (winter only)
In some winter seasons, Ramoji has run an evening BBQ dinner with a bonfire, carnival parade and live shows. The last season we have details for ran from 6 PM to 10 PM, with one price of Rs. 799 for both veg and non-veg . This was an evening-only ticket, so it did not need a separate day entry, and guests could not enter before 6 PM.
The menu included murgh angara, fish hariyali tikka, paneer tikka, corn on the cob, laccha onion, chicken biryani, veg biryani, dal makhani, rumali roti, mirchi ka salan, raita, a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and pineapple, and ice cream. Check whether this dinner is running in the coming winter before you plan around it.
Other places to eat inside
Apart from the buffet and combo counters, the park has themed restaurants. Alampana serves Hyderabadi biryani, Masala Mahal has chaat, Jimmy's Drive-In serves western and Chinese-style food, Dil Se has combos with a kids' menu, and Bahubali Darbar serves biryani and bhature on a movie theme. We cover these in more detail in our guide to food inside Ramoji Film City.

- Carry a small water bottle. You can refill or buy water inside, but you walk a lot in the sun.
- Plan lunch around the Bahubali set bus and the afternoon stunt shows, so you do not miss either.
At GoldBox Holidays we sell Ramoji entry tickets with lunch and pickup bus from many points in Hyderabad in one booking. If you are unsure which ticket suits you, read which Ramoji package is best.
