Thailand-Bangkok-Pattaya Tour Packages are built around the two cities that most Indians see on their first trip to Thailand. Bangkok, the capital, has royal palaces, gold-roofed temples, river boats and large markets. Pattaya is a beach town on the Gulf of Thailand, about 150 km south-east of Bangkok, known for island trips, water sports and evening shows. Flights from the big Indian cities take around four hours, and Indian and vegetarian food is easy to find in both places. GoldBox Holidays has no Thailand package online at the moment. New Bangkok and Pattaya trips will be added to this page soon.

- Chao Phraya river - public river boats by day and dinner cruises after sunset.
- Safari World, Bangkok - a drive-through animal park and marine park that children enjoy.
- Coral Island (Koh Larn), Pattaya - a short speedboat or ferry ride for sandy beaches and water sports.
- Sanctuary of Truth and Nong Nooch Garden, Pattaya - a giant temple carved from wood, and a large tropical garden with cultural shows.
Best time to go
November to February is the most comfortable time. It is the cool and dry season, and the sea near Pattaya is calm for island trips. March to May is hot and humid. The rainy months run from about June to October, with heavy showers most afternoons, though hotel rates drop. Songkran, the Thai New Year water festival in mid-April, is great fun but crowded. Diwali and the Christmas holidays are peak times for Indian visitors, so book flights early.
How to choose the right package
For a first visit, 4 to 5 nights works well: two or three nights in Pattaya and two in Bangkok. Families with children should look for Safari World and Coral Island in the plan. Honeymoon couples may want a free day on the islands or a river dinner cruise. Elders should avoid long walking days in the midday heat. Every traveller must fill in the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before arrival. Your passport should have at least six months of validity left.
