Yadagirigutta-Swarnagiri Tour Packages from GoldBox Holidays pair two of the most visited hill temples near Hyderabad. Yadagirigutta, in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, is home to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, rebuilt in black stone and reopened in March 2022. The town was called Yadadri for a few years, and the Telangana government restored the old name in late 2024. Swarnagiri is the newer Sri Venkateswara temple on the Manepally hills near Bhuvanagiri (Bhongir), about 20 km from Yadagirigutta. All three packages in this category start from Hyderabad: a one-day bus trip, a one-day car trip and a car package for Swarnagiri.

Places you will visit
The Yadagirigutta Temple crowns a hilltop, and Lord Narasimha is worshipped with Lakshmi in a cave shrine inside the main temple. The rebuilt complex has tall carved towers, stone pillars and wide halls, and it glows under lights after dark. Many pilgrims also visit the older Paatha Gutta temple nearby. Swarnagiri sits on a large hill campus at Manepally, just outside Bhuvanagiri town. Its main shrine holds a tall idol of Lord Venkateswara, and many visitors call it the Tirumala of Telangana. On the way you pass Bhuvanagiri fort, built on a huge single rock, which makes a good photo stop. See more in our Yadagirigutta travel guide.
Best time to go
October to February is the most pleasant time, with cool mornings and dry weather. March to June is hot, so start early and carry water. Weekends, holidays and festival days are very busy at both temples. The annual Brahmotsavam at Yadagirigutta, usually in February or March, and Narasimha Jayanti in April or May bring the largest crowds. Weekday mornings are the quietest.
How to choose the right package
The bus trip is the lowest-cost option and suits a single pilgrim or a small group. A car costs more, but elders can rest between the two temples, and you can leave when you like. The Swarnagiri package suits devotees who want more time at the Venkateswara temple. Since Swarnagiri is on the same highway, ask us whether your one-day trip can stop at both temples. With two days, you can also cover Warangal and the Ramappa temple; see our Warangal Tour Packages. The temples decide darshan arrangements on the day of your visit.
