Pick a route by the places you want to cover.

Places you will visit

In Shirdi, pilgrims visit the Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai and Chavadi, all a short walk apart. Shani Shingnapur, roughly 70 km away, has an open-air Shani stone, and its village is known for houses built without doors. In Nashik, the Panchavati area and Ramkund ghat are linked with the Ramayana. Trimbakeshwar, about 30 km from Nashik, sits below the Brahmagiri hill where the Godavari begins. Near Aurangabad, the Ellora caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Buddhist, Hindu and Jain carvings, and the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga stands close by. One Hyderabad bus tour also covers the Vitthal temple at Pandharpur and Tulja Bhavani at Tuljapur.

Best time to go

October to March is the most comfortable season. April and May are hot, so carry water and a cap. July to September is rainy, and the hills around Trimbakeshwar turn green. Shirdi is crowded on Thursdays, Guru Purnima, Ram Navami and around Vijayadashami, the Samadhi day of Sai Baba. Saturdays are busiest at Shani Shingnapur.

How to choose the right package

Shirdi is about 600 km from Hyderabad, so most tours travel overnight. A sleeper bus or train helps you arrive rested for darshan. For Sai darshan alone, a short trip is enough. Add Nashik and Trimbakeshwar for a Jyotirlinga and the Godavari ghats, or Ellora and Grishneshwar if you enjoy history as well. Families with elders usually prefer the train tours. Remember that the Ellora caves close on Tuesdays. For a longer Jyotirlinga circuit by rail, see our Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Packages.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see Shirdi, Nashik and Trimbakeshwar on one trip?

Yes. Two-day tours from Hyderabad and the three-day bus tour from Bangalore cover all three, as their names show.

Is Aurangabad the same as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar?

Yes. The city was officially renamed in 2023, but many signs and people still use the old name.

How are darshan queues handled at Shirdi?

The Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust runs the queues, and waiting time changes from day to day. Each package page shows what the tour covers.
