Bangalore to Kanyakumari-Rameshwaram-Madurai Tour Package by Train

This is a five days train tour from Bangalore to Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram and Madurai. The trip starts from Bangalore Railway Station. A vehicle for sightseeing, train tickets, food and hotel stay are included.

Trip plan

• Start: Train from Bangalore Railway Station.
• Next morning: Arrive at Nagercoil Junction and check in at a hotel. Visit Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Tiruvalluvar Statue, Gandhi Museum, Sunset Point and Wax Museum.
• Day 3: Watch the sunrise at the seashore, then leave for Rameswaram, visiting Tiruchendur on the way. Check in at a hotel in Rameswaram and stay the night.
• Next day: See Ramanathaswamy Temple, Ramarpadam Temple and Five Faced Hanuman Temple, then travel to Madurai. In Madurai, visit Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal and Meenakshi Amman Temple. Drop at Madurai Station for the return train to Bangalore.
• Last day: Arrive in Bangalore in the morning.

• The vehicle category is decided based on the group size.

Itinerary and sightseeing

• Covering all sightseeing places depends on the time available and on weather and road conditions. All sightseeing places also depend on the tourist destinations being open and on the time available.
• The package itinerary is only indicative. The handling agency reserves the right to change it during the tour because of local circumstances.
• Opening of wildlife sanctuaries and national parks is at the discretion of the Forest Department.
• All tourists must follow the time slots given by any facility, tourist attraction or activity, for the convenience of the service providers and other tourists.

Tour terms

• Running of the package depends on government guidelines at the destination.
• We and our tour operator will not be responsible if tourists do not follow the safety guidelines and are fined by the authorities concerned.

Hotel stay

• The standard check-in and check-out time is 12.00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability. Most hotels have a check-in time of 1300 to 1500 hrs, and check-out is usually 1000 to 1100 hrs.
• Early check-in or late check-out is at the hotel's discretion.
• Unless stated otherwise, rooms in all packages are of the base category.
• Hotels are confirmed only if rooms are available at the time of booking. If not, a hotel of a similar category will be provided.
• Most hotels provide twin bedrooms. A double bedroom depends on availability. Wherever an extra bed is mentioned, it means only a rollaway bed.
• For an extra adult, or a child with bed booking, hotels provide a rollaway bed or a mattress.
