Haritha Taramati Baradari Resort is a Telangana Tourism resort built around a heritage hilltop monument at Ibrahimbagh, on the Gandipet road in Hyderabad. The place is known for classical music and folk dance events.
A little history
A baradari is a building with twelve doors. Local stories tell of two sisters, Taramati and Premamati, famous dancers of the Qutb Shahi period. The Taramati Gana Mandir and Premamati Nritya Mandir are linked to them. Legend says they danced on a rope stretched towards the Sultan's balcony at Golconda.
