Wonderla Hyderabad is the city's biggest amusement and water park. It opened in April 2016 at Raviryal, near Exit 13 of the Outer Ring Road, on about 50 acres of land. The park has 28 land rides and 18 water rides, including Recoil, India's first reverse looping roller coaster, and Mission Interstellar, an indoor space-themed ride. How to reach Wonderla Hyderabad
- By car or cab: take the Outer Ring Road and leave at Exit 13 (Raviryal). The park is right next to the exit. From Gachibowli, the Financial District and Shamshabad the ORR makes it an easy drive. Parking is available at the park.
- From the city centre: go via the Srisailam highway past Tukkuguda, or via L.B. Nagar and the ORR. Allow about an hour from Ameerpet or Secunderabad in normal traffic.
- By bus: TGSRTC has run buses to Wonderla from points such as Dilsukhnagar, Koti and Secunderabad, mainly on weekends and in holiday season. Check timings before you travel.
- By metro: no metro line reaches the park. The nearest stations are far away, so a cab is still needed.
Wonderla Hyderabad ticket price
There are two ticket types. Regular gives normal queues at all rides. Fastrack gives express queues at all rides. Reported 2026 prices, before 18% GST:

Best time to visit
- Season: October to February is the most pleasant, with mild afternoons. March to June is hot, but the water park is at its best then, so start with water rides after noon and keep the dry rides for the late afternoon.
- Monsoon: July to September brings rain. Some tall outdoor rides stop during heavy showers or lightning.
- Day of the week: Tuesday to Thursday are usually the quietest. Weekends, long weekends and the April to May school holidays are the busiest, and weekend prices apply.
Where to eat
Outside food is not allowed. The park has sit-down restaurants and a food court with South Indian meals, biryani, North Indian dishes, pizzas and snacks. Eat around noon to beat the lunch crowd, and keep some cash or a card for snacks and drinks through the day.
What to wear and carry
Water rides allow only nylon or polyester swimwear. Cotton clothes, sarees, dupattas and jeans are not allowed on them. Swimwear can be bought or rented at the park. Carry a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen and a plastic bag for wet clothes. Keep jewellery and extra cash at home. Ride Rules at Wonderla
Wonderla Hyderabad is a place to forget work, face your fear of heights and enjoy the rides like a child again. It is far from the city traffic, so a full day here feels like a real break. A few simple rules keep that day safe.
- Read the board at each ride. It shows the height, age and health limits.
- Listen to the ride staff and follow their instructions at all times.
- Remove loose items such as caps, glasses and phones before a fast ride, or keep them in a locker.
- Tie long hair and stay seated with the safety bar locked until the ride stops fully.
- Skip high-thrill rides if you are pregnant or have heart, back or blood pressure problems.
- Start with gentle rides, then move to the big ones once you know the park.
What to Carry and What to Leave at Home
Wonderla has a dress code for the water rides, so pack with care.
For the dry rides, wear light, comfortable clothes and good shoes. Avoid scarves, dupattas or anything loose that can catch in a ride. Keep jewellery and accessories to a minimum and tie your hair.
For the water park, bring proper swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a spare set of clothes and a waterproof bag for wet clothes. Shampoo, body wash and water-friendly footwear also help. For both parks, carry a little cash, a phone or camera and a water bottle.
