Important notes

  • This package does not include any Tirumala darshan tickets. You must join the free (Dharma) darshan queue for Lord Balaji darshan.

    • Leave by Train No. 12734 Express: Lingampalli at 17:30 hrs, Secunderabad at 18:10 hrs, Nalgonda at 19:38 hrs. Overnight journey.

    Day 02

    • Reach Tirupati at 05:55 hrs. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel. After freshening up, visit Tiruchanur Padmavathi Temple and Sri Kalahasti Temple. Return to the hotel for the overnight stay in Tirupati.

    Day 03

    • Leave the hotel early at 02:30 hrs. Drop at Tirumala for the Free Queue Darshan. In the afternoon, after darshan, drop back at the hotel. In the evening, drop at Tirupati Railway Station to board Train No. 12733 Express at 18:20 hrs. Overnight journey.

Darshan

  • Important: this package does not include any Tirumala darshan tickets. You must join the free (Dharma) darshan queue for Lord Balaji darshan.

  • Pilgrims of every age are asked not to wear T-shirts, jeans or similar clothes, as these are strictly not allowed.
  • Every traveller must carry an original, valid photo ID proof.
  • Every traveller must carry their own original ID card and show it when asked during the tour.

Train, boarding and travel

  • Train seats are allotted automatically 2-3 days before departure and sent to you by SMS and email. Requests for a berth preference or a change cannot be accepted, because tickets are generated through the central PRS system.
  • Online tickets are generated and issued 4 days before departure. Berth preferences or changes cannot be accepted, because tickets are generated through the central PRS system.
  • Please travel on the berths allotted to you.
  • If the vehicle is late because of traffic or any other reason, please be patient and cooperate with the tour operator.
  • Please reach the boarding point 10 minutes before the departure time.
  • Please look after your own belongings during the whole trip.
  • All travellers must board at the selected boarding point only.
  • Travelling to Tirupati on your own and joining the group for TTD darshan or at the hotel is not allowed under any circumstances.
  • The itinerary above is only a suggested outline. The tour operator can change it based on what is practical on the day.
  • Visits to all the sightseeing places depend on the time available.

Hotel rooms

  • At most one extra person is allowed per room.

Route and travel

You board at Lingampalli, Secunderabad or Nalgonda in the evening, in sleeper or 3AC class as booked. The train reaches Tirupati around 6 AM the next day. Local travel is by road. The group leaves the hotel in the small hours of the third day for the Tirumala free queue, then returns to the hotel after darshan before the train back to Hyderabad.
