The North Goa and South Central Goa Tour Package From Goa is a 2-day coach tour that starts in Goa and covers both halves of the coast on separate days. It is best for guests who already have a hotel in Goa for a few nights and want the main beaches, forts, churches and temples arranged in two simple sightseeing days.

Route and travel

Each day the coach leaves around 8:30 AM from the meeting point. One day runs north through Candolim, Calangute and Baga to Anjuna and Vagator, ending around 4:30 PM. The other day covers Panaji, Old Goa and the Ponda temples, returning around 7:30 PM. Hotel stay is not part of this package as per the description, so you return to your own room each evening.

  • North Goa: Fort Aguada, Sinquerim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and Vagator beaches.
  • Old Goa: Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, St. Catherine's Chapel, the Arch of the Viceroys and St. Augustine Tower.

  • Stay in Panaji or the Candolim-Calangute belt; both are close to the pick-up routes.
  • Plan the heritage day for a weekday if you can, as Sunday mass times can limit church visits.
  • Short clothes are not allowed at Se Cathedral, so dress modestly on the Old Goa day.
  • Wear light cotton and carry a hat on the beach day; there is little shade at midday.
  • Keep your hotel address and phone number saved for the evening drop.
