The North Goa Beaches Tour Package From Goa is a 1-day coach tour that starts in Goa and takes you along the famous northern coastline. It is ideal for first-time visitors already staying in Goa who want to see the best-known beaches and the old fort in one easy day, without hiring a taxi or scooter.

Route and travel

The coach leaves at about 8:30 AM and heads from the meeting point towards Candolim and Sinquerim. It then works its way up the coast to Anjuna and Vagator before turning back, with a drop at about 4:30 PM. The operator allows around 45 minutes at each stop, which is enough for photos, a short walk on the sand and a cold drink.

  • Sinquerim Beach and the lower Sinquerim Fort.
  • Fort Aguada, the 17th century Portuguese fort with its old lighthouse.
  • Calangute and Baga, the busiest beaches in North Goa, as listed in the description.

Tips for this trip

  • Swim only in areas marked safe by lifeguards and never when a red flag is up.
  • Water sports are closed during the monsoon, roughly June to September; outside that season they are paid for directly at the beach.

The plan allows about 45 minutes per stop, so choose one or two places for a longer walk.

Can I do parasailing or jet ski on this tour?

Water sports are not part of the coach tour. If they are open that season, you can pay the operators on the beach, as long as it fits in the stop time.

Is this tour good in the monsoon?

The coach still runs, but the sea is rough and water sports stop. October to March is the better time for beach days.
