• Kanipakam - Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple was built by the Chola King Khuttunga Chola I in the early 11 th Century. Brahmosthavam will be celebrated every year after 21 days of Vinayaka Chavithi festival here. 

• Thiruthani - Temple of Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy and has the mount as white elephant called Airavata gifted by Lord Indra. Once the Airavata left, the wealth of Lord Indra began to decrease. Then Lord Murugan said he will return the gift but lord Indra refused to take back the gift he made and insisted that the elephant face his direction. So, in this temple, the elephant faces the east.

• Golden Temple - Golden temple in Vellore has slokas of Bhagavad Gita, bible and Quran that was quoted along the entrance to the temple. The sanctorum is here covered with a 1.5 metric tons gold sheet.  

• Kanchipuram - The Kamakshi temple here is one of the Ashtadasa Shaktipeetas. This temple is closely associated with Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha.
