About the palaces

• Falaknuma Palace is one of Hyderabad's well-known places. It stands on a small hill in a 32-acre area at Falaknuma. It first belonged to the Paigah family, and later the Nizam of Hyderabad owned it.
• Chowmahalla Palace is another popular place in the city. It was the official home of the Nizams of Hyderabad during their rule.

Tour plan

• The trip starts at noon from Paryatak Bhavan, Begumpet.
• From there, it goes on to Hotel Tajkrishna, Hotel Golconda, Basheerbagh.
• We reach Chowmahalla Palace at 1:30 PM and stay there until 2:30 PM.
• Next, we visit Falaknuma Palace.
• We then go to Golconda to watch the sound and light show.
• We reach Paryatak Bhavan, Begumpet in the evening.

• One or two days before the tour, the Tourism Department asks Falaknuma Palace for permission to visit. The trip runs only if the palace officials agree. If not, it will be postponed or cancelled without any charges.
