Itinerary
Day 10: Arrival and Cochin Sightseeing
- Pickup from Ernakulam railway station or Cochin airport and transfer to the hotel in Ernakulam.
- Half day sightseeing in Cochin.
- Visit the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), the Jews Synagogue (closed on Friday afternoons and Saturdays) and Fort Cochin.
- Evening visit to Marine Drive.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin to Munnar
- Check out of the hotel and transfer to Munnar by road. On the way, visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls.
- Check in at the hotel in Munnar.
- Evening visit to the Tea Museum (10.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs, closed on Mondays), then the cultural programmes at Punarjani.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
- After breakfast, visit:
- Eravikulam National Park
- Kundala Dam Lake
- Echo Point
- Mettupetty Dam, and time for shopping
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady
- After breakfast, transfer by road to Thekkady.
- Check in at the hotel on arrival in Thekkady.
- The afternoon is free for boating on the lake in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary or a spice plantation visit.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day 05: Thekkady to Kumarakom/Alleppey Houseboat
- After breakfast, travel to Kumarakom/Alleppey.
- On arrival, check in to the houseboat.
- Lunch on board, followed by a cruise along the backwaters.
- Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.
Cruise timing: The boat cruises from 12:00 hrs to 13:30 hrs, then stops for a 30 minute lunch break, and cruises again from 15:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs. After that, the boat is tied up at a set spot on the lake bank. By law, cruising is not allowed after 17:30 hrs. Next morning, the boat cruises from 08:00 hrs to 09:00 hrs. After breakfast, you check out of the houseboat and are dropped at the Kumarakom/Alleppey boat jetty.
Day 06: Kumarakom/Alleppey to Cochin and Departure
- Check out of the houseboat and transfer by road to Cochin.
- After lunch, visit Lulu Mall, then drop at Ernakulam railway station or Cochin airport by evening.
- All Day 1 sightseeing may be covered only if the guests reach Ernakulam in the morning or forenoon, which we advise.
Tour ends, with happy memories.

- Transport in a private AC vehicle for the whole tour.
- 1 night in a Cochin hotel on CPAI meal plan (room and breakfast).
- 2 nights in a Munnar hotel on CPAI meal plan (room and breakfast).
- 1 night in a Thekkady hotel on CPAI meal plan (room and breakfast).
- 1 night on a houseboat at Kumarakom/Alleppey on APAI meal plan (room, breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- Rooms in Munnar and Thekkady are non-AC.
- Toll, parking and all taxes for the services above.
- All sightseeing and trips listed in the itinerary.
- Travel insurance.

- Munnar, 2 nights: KTDC Tea County or similar category

- Personal expenses or extras such as telephone, laundry, drinks, porterage and so on.
- Any service not in the inclusions list above costs extra.
- Entry charges for still or video cameras.
- Any change from the plan above.
- Tour guide or tour escort service.
- Any rail or air ticket fare.
- Entry fees to monuments, museums, wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, bird sanctuaries and similar places, spice gardens, and tour guide services.
- Boating of any kind.
