About Jetprole
Jetprole is known for its old temples. The Madanagopala Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, has a tall gopuram and carved pillars in Vijayanagara style. The Agastheeswara Swamy Temple is also here. Several of these temples were moved to Jetprole from nearby villages when the Srisailam dam backwaters were about to flood them.
