Ramoji Film City Christmas Carnival

Every December, Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad turns its regular day tour into a winter carnival that covers Christmas and New Year. The studio stays open late, with a carnival parade, live stage shows, DJ music, festive lighting and themed decoration. This guide covers the likely dates, timings, ticket options and tips for families planning a Christmas visit in 2026.

Carnival dates and timings

The winter carnival (also called Winter Fest) usually starts in mid or late December and runs into late January. In the last season it ran from about mid December 2026 to late January 2027. Dates for December 2026 will be announced closer to the season.

  • Festive lighting across gardens and film streets.
  • Themed Christmas and New Year decoration.
  • The regular studio tour: film sets, Baahubali set, Movie Magic and the Wild West stunt show.
  • Sahas adventure activities, gardens and rides for children.
  • Bonfire and barbecue style evening entertainment on some days.

Ticket options

Festive Studio Tour or Festive Star Experience

  • Festive Studio Tour: the best value for most families. You see all the sets, shows and the evening parade.
  • Festive Star Experience: worth it if you want an AC coach, a buffet lunch and shorter waits at Movie Magic.
