Hyderabad Metro runs from early morning to late night on all three lines – Red, Blue and Green. This page gives you the first and last train times, how often trains come, which stations connect the lines, and a few tips that save time when you travel.
Hyderabad Metro timings at a glance
| Day | First train (from terminal stations) | Last train (from terminal stations) |
|---|---|---|
| Monday to Saturday | 6:00 AM | 11:00 PM |
| Sunday and public holidays | 6:00 AM | 11:00 PM |
Trains start from the end stations of each line (for example Miyapur, LB Nagar, Nagole, Raidurg, JBS Parade Ground and MG Bus Station). At stations in the middle of a line, the first train reaches a few minutes later and the last train passes a few minutes earlier, so plan to be on the platform in time.

Interchange stations
You can change lines at three stations without buying a new ticket, as long as you do not exit through the gates:
- Ameerpet – change between the Red Line and the Blue Line.
- MG Bus Station – change between the Red Line and the Green Line.
- Parade Ground – change between the Blue Line and the Green Line.
Late-night tip: the last connecting train at an interchange can leave before the last train on your first line arrives. If you are travelling after 10:00 PM and need to change lines, start a little earlier.
