Tourist Attractions in Kodaikanal
Kodaikanal is a hill town in the Palani Hills of Tamil Nadu, in Dindigul district. It stands at over 2,000 metres, so the weather is cool for most of the year. People often call it the Princess of Hill Stations. The town is built around a star-shaped lake, with pine forests, cliffs and waterfalls around it. Couples, families and college groups come here for the cool air and quiet views.

Best time to visit Kodaikanal
April to June is the peak season. The plains are very hot then, and Kodaikanal is pleasant. The summer festival and flower show at Bryant Park take place in May. September and October are also good, with fewer crowds. November to February is cold, especially at night, so carry warm clothes. Heavy rain in the monsoon can block views with fog.
